Garrus could definitely use a little shore leave. He loved the Normandy, her crew, and definitely her guns, but the battery could start to feel real cramped if he stayed in there too long. The lounge and other parts of the ship only offered so much comfort on top of that. So, when he heard they were going to be docking at the Citadel for a while, he was all for the idea of taking a break in a more open space.
The weapons mod shop was his first stop. He stood at the console, tapping through the different scopes and heat sync packs. He didn’t find anything Shepard hadn’t already procured. He stepped away from the shop and sank onto a bench with a sigh. He watched a C-Sec officer pass by and had himself a chuckle. He could never tell if they were ignoring him, or if they didn’t recognize him after two and a half years and a missile to the cheek. Either way, they passed by without noticing him. Though, with a second thought, he realized he wouldn’t have turned down the company. Even if it would have been from a stern-faced, strict-rules C-Sec officer.
